Welcome to Millburn
Millburn is a township in Essex County, New Jersey. It is home to the Papermill Playhouse, South Mountain Reservation, and The Mall at Short Hills. The community has two NJ Transit Train Stations, the Millburn Station, and the Short Hills Station. Homes in the Short Hills section tend to be larger and built on larger lots. Homes in Millburn proper are generally situated on smaller, suburban-sized yards. The downtown area is thriving with several excellent restaurants, bakeries, salons, and boutiques. The area was an important one during the American Revolution when the British troops assaulted George Washington’s troops through the Hobart Gap.
