Summit is a small city in Union County. Known for its thriving downtown with numerous restaurants, shops, and amenities, Summit has a NJ Transit Train Station that is a hub in the area. Housing in Summit includes some historic Victorian and Tudor-style homes, but new construction is also available. The city is home to Overlook Hospital, which is rated as one of the top hospitals in the nation. Reeves-Reed Arboretum and the nearby Watchung Reservation offer chances to enjoy nature. Summit residents enjoy one of the largest Farmers Markets in NJ every Sunday during the growing and harvest season.
